Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited( SAVWIPL) has planted further than 700,000 trees in Maharashtra. This is part of their plan to help the terrain, which includes planting trees, restoring mangroves, and using renewable energy at their manufactories.

A major achievement in SAVWIPL’s green sweats was planting the 100,000 th tree at the Green Future Park near its auto manufacturing installation in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The demesne aims to give a healthy oxygen-rich terrain in the Shendra Industrial area and help restore original ecosystems.

SAVWIPL’s sustainability plan focuses on cutting carbon emigrations. They've fully decarbonized their Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar factory, which now runs on green energy. At their Chakan installation, they’ve set up 18.5 MWp of rooftop solar power, which helps reduce nearly 30 of the point’s CO2 emigrations.

Along with planting trees, SAVWIPL has restored 100 hectares of damaged mangrove timbers in Alibaug, planting over 580,000 trees to help the littoral ecosystem. They’ve also enforced rainwater harvesting systems, which can collect further than 600 million liters of water in failure-prone areas of Maharashtra.

A SAVWIPL prophet said," These enterprise will have a significant impact on CO2 reduction once the trees reach maturity in 5- 7 times. Beyond reducing emigrations, they contribute to cooling original temperatures, restoring ecosystems, and perfecting green cover.

Besides these systems, the company has also supported colorful ecological restoration sweats near its Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Pune installations. Notable enterprise include planting 25,000 trees at Oxygen Park and 11,500 trees at the Green mecca. The recently developed Green Future Park, which has 63,500 trees, adds indeed further to these sweats.
