"The government currently investigates the suitability of commercial vehicles, including light and heavy vehicles like trucks, autorickshaws, and tempos, among others. An average of 600 to 800 autos undergo fitness tests each day. It causes file pendency in addition to adding to the workload for the employees. According to a top official, the department has chosen to outsource the fitness centers.
