Volkswagen sold a total of 4,787 cars in India in December. VW showed a very strong sales growth in December compared to November 2024. Starting the Virtus, it shows a relatively fluctuating sales pattern throughout the months. In July 2024, it sold 1,766 units, and sales slightly increased to 1,876 units in August. However, in September, the sales dipped to 1,697 units. A significant surge occurred in October, with 2,351 units sold, possibly due to promotional activities or seasonal demand. This was followed by a sharp decline in November, where sales dropped to 1,457 units. The Taigun experienced a similar sales pattern, with a steady increase in the first three months. In July, 1,564 units were sold, and sales grew slightly to 1,628 units in August, then slightly decreased to 1,611 units in September. Like the Virtus, the Taigun saw a peak in October with 2,028 units sold. However, in November, sales dropped to 1,497 units, following a similar trend of decline seen in the Virtus. In December, the Taigun sales surged again to 2,335 units, mirroring the increase in sales seen in the Virtus, likely due to the holiday season or end-of-year offers.

The Tiguan, with considerably lower sales than the other two models, remained relatively stable throughout the months. It sold 77 units in July, 73 units in August, and 86 units in September, showing only minor fluctuations. In October and November, it sold 79 units in both months. However, a significant increase occurred in December, when 195 units were sold, which may indicate a seasonal spike or targeted promotions toward the end of the year.
