The leading and popular car manufacturing company Skoda is preparing to debut its all new car Skoda Octavia RS at upcoming Bharat Mobility Show. Also the new Kodiaq SUV will also be debuted, so the Kodiaq another Model to be shown in India for the first time. New Octavia RS makes 265hp, 370Nm and it could come to India as a CBU.
Previously the powerful Octavia RS 245 was launched at the Auto Expo 2020 and Octavia RS 230 was launched in 2017.
The standard fourth-generation Skoda Octavia, which was assembled in India, was launched in 2021 and discontinued in 2023 due to the implementation of BS6.2 emissions standards. However, the car remains available in international markets and has even undergone a mid-life facelift.

Sources indicate that the fourth-generation Octavia RS will be showcased at the upcoming event to gather customer feedback, with a potential limited launch in the future. The car is equipped with a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 265hp and 370Nm of torque. Given that it will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), we anticipate it will be priced at a premium.
If Skoda locally assembles the Octavia, one can expect it to be priced competitively at around Rs 30 lakh. If Skoda decides to locally assemble the Octavia, it is expected to be priced more competitively, likely around Rs 30 lakh.
