Recently, two exclusive TATA.ev retail stores in Kerala are inaugurated by Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM). This is the clear signal that demand for Electric vehicles is growing in the state. The new facilities located in Kannur and Thrissur follow the launch of two similar stores in the state in August 2024.

The Kannur store, located in Thottada, covers 5,200 square feet and is the first South India store focusing only on electric vehicles (EVs). It has a service workshop with 10 bays to provide full customer service. In Thrissur, the new store at Kuttanellur is located near National Highway 544 and has a large showroom of 7,000 square feet. This store was built by updating and modernising an old building.

TPEM's decision to open stores that focus only on electric vehicles (EVs) shows their plan to improve the EV ownership experience by providing specialized sales and service support. Kerala is becoming an important market for EVs, which is highlighted by the fast growth of TATA.ev stores in the region.
