In December 2024, Maruti Suzuki achieved total sales of 178,248 units, including a record 37,419 units in exports. Domestic sales saw growth, fueled by robust performance in the SUV segment and an increase in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sales.
New Delhi – Maruti Suzuki India set a new sales record in December 2024, with a total of 178,248 units sold. This figure comprises 132,523 units in domestic sales, 8,306 units sold to other OEMs, and a record 37,419 units exported.
Segment-Wise Performance:
Mini and Compact: Sales in December 2024 rose to 62,324 units, up from 48,298 units in December 2023. However, year-to-date sales in this segment showed a slight decline.
Utility Vehicles (UVs): The UV segment (Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimmy, XL6) saw robust growth in December 2024, with 55,651 units sold, up from 45,957 units in December 2023. Year-to-date sales in the UV segment have also shown significant growth.
Vans: The Vans category, driven by strong sales of the Eeco, experienced a slight increase in December 2024.

Export Surge:
December 2024 saw a notable surge in exports, with 37,419 units shipped, marking a significant increase from 26,884 units in December 2023. Year-to-date exports also exhibited strong growth.
Key Highlights:
Domestic Sales: Total domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 130,117 units in December 2024, up from 104,778 units in December 2023.
OEM Sales: Sales to other OEMs doubled in December 2024.
LCV Sales: LCV sales also registered growth in December 2024.
