Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled two new colors for the five-door version of its lifestyle SUV, which will be called the Mahindra Thar Roxx. In a post shared by the company before the official launch on August 15, the black and white colors of the SUV were revealed. The launch of the Mahindra Thar Roxx is eagerly awaited, with the company showcasing its features in promotional videos, including a panoramic sunroof. The price and booking details for the new Mahindra Thar Roxx will be announced on August 15.

The Thar Roxx will come with the same engines as the standard model, including a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While the official price hasn't been announced yet, dealer sources suggest that the Thar Roxx will start at Rs 15.99 lakh.

The Thar Roxx will be built on the same platform as the standard model and will have a similar design with a few changes. Inside, the new 5-door Mahindra Thar will feature modern upgrades like a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and ADAS Level 2 for advanced driver assistance.

The ‘Thar ROXX’ expands the Thar portfolio," the company said in a statement.

While retaining the core attributes of the iconic Thar the ‘Thar ROXX’ represents the larger-than-life personality of a rockstar and will disrupt the SUV category.”
