How to Change Name on Driving Licence?
When you approach the toll booth, the scanner scans the FASTag sticker and collects the information about the ID and digital wallet through RFID technology. After a successful scan the toll free is deducted from the digital wallet. It happens in a few seconds as you slowly approach the toll booth. The sticker looks like a normal sticker and it comprises an RFID circuit to communicate with the scanner.
When the people enter the toll plaza without FASTag then they need to pay double the toll amount. The Government has made FASTag mandatory for acquiring third party insurance for the vehicle.
