2W Suzuki Sales Oct 2024 – Sold 1.20 Lakh Units record Highest Ever monthly Sales

This time Suzuki, one of the most trusted and demanding brands in 2W, recorded highest highest-ever monthly sales. By selling 1.20 lakh units in a single month in October, Suzuki sales touched a milestone and enjoyed 19.45% YoY and 21.4% MoM growth.

Recently, Suzuki released its 2W sales data for Oct 2024. According to the resources, the company has recorded truly expected positive results on both YoY and MoM basis as well as YTD sales also ended with positive results. The company has seen increasing sales domestically.

When breakdown 2W Suzuki Sales Oct 2024 (Domestic + Exports) it stood at 1,20,055 units. If compared to last it was 19.45% YoY growth from 1,00,507 units sold in Oct 2023. Thus the volume increase is 1,9,548 units. Highly positive sales were seen in domestic markets with 1,04,940 units sold last month.

This was a 24.48% YoY growth from 84,302 units sold in Oct 2023. Domestic sales thereby commanded an 87.41% share. Access, Burgman and Aveni's scooter range are the players behind such growth. If talk about the exports, it dipped by 6.73% to 15,115 units in Oct 2024 from 16,205 units sold in Oct 2023. This related to a 1,090 unit volume decline with exports holding a 12.59% share.

Suzuki India 2W Sales Grows by 10.36% – April to October 2024

Suzuki's sales for the FY2025 period have increased by 10.36% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis, reaching a total of 7,39,930 units, up from 6,70,457 units sold in the same period last year. This represents a volume gain of 69,473 units. The company has once again seen stronger performance in its domestic market compared to exports. Domestic sales grew by 17.51%, reaching 6,21,470 units in FY2025, up from 5,28,870 units in FY2024, with a 92,600 unit increase. This surge in domestic sales underscores Suzuki’s continued efforts to strengthen its position in the Indian two-wheeler market, where it holds an 83.99% market share. On the other hand, exports have declined by 16.33%, with 1,18,460 units shipped in FY2025, compared to 1,41,587 units in the same period last year. This decline in exports resulted in a drop of 23,127 units, and Suzuki’s export share now stands at 16.01%.
