Hero MotoCorp, the largest motorcycle maker, saw a big drop in sales in November 2024. Sales fell by 6.36% compared to November 2023, with 4,59,805 units sold, down by 31,245 units from the 4,91,050 units sold last year. On a month-to-month basis, sales also dropped by 32.29%, down by 2,19,286 units compared to October 2024, when 6,79,091 units were sold.
Hero MotoCorp showcased several new and upcoming models at the EICMA Show 2024, which will be launched in India soon. At the 2024 EICMA Show in Milan, Hero MotoCorp unveiled a new lineup of models, including the Hero Xpulse 210, Karizma 250, Xtreme 250, and Vida Z. The company hopes these new models will boost customer sentiment in the coming months. Hero also plans to expand its premium and scooter range with new offerings in both the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and EV (Electric Vehicle) segments. Additionally, the company revealed sketches of the Hero Surge S32 Convertible Electric Scooter/Rickshaw, which is expected to launch in 2025

In November 2024, Hero MotoCorp's motorcycle sales dropped by 3.49%, totaling 4,25,856 units. This was 15,420 units lower than the 4,41,276 units sold in November 2023. Motorcycles now make up 92.62% of the company's total sales. Month-on-month (MoM), motorcycle sales also saw a significant decline of 33.02%, down by 2,09,931 units compared to the 6,35,787 units sold in October 2024.
Hero MotoCorp also reported a decline in scooter sales for November 2024. Scooter sales dropped to 33,949 units, a decrease of 31.79% compared to 49,774 units sold in November 2023. Month-on-month (MoM) sales also fell by 21.60%, down from 43,304 units sold in October 2024.

In November 2024, Hero MotoCorp's domestic sales fell by 7.67% year-on-year (YoY) and 33.10% month-on-month (MoM), totaling 4,39,777 units. However, the company saw a 35.65% increase in exports compared to the same month last year. Exports rose to 20,028 units in November 2024, up from 14,764 units in November 2023. On a MoM basis, exports dropped by 7.65%, down from 21,688 units in October 2024.
Hero MotoCorp achieved impressive sales growth from April to November 2024. During this period, the company sold a total of 41,93,736 units, including both motorcycles and scooters in domestic and global markets. This represented a 9.35% increase compared to 38,35,080 units sold in the same period last year, marking a volume rise of 3,58,656 units

In the FY25 period, Hero MotoCorp sold 39,18,733 motorcycles in the domestic market. This marked a 10.69% year-to-date (YTD) increase compared to 35,40,305 units sold in FY24, resulting in a volume gain of 3,78,428 units.
In contrast to the growth in motorcycle sales, Hero MotoCorp's scooter sales saw a 6.71% year-to-date (YTD) decline. Scooter sales dropped to 2,75,003 units in the FY25 period, down from 2,94,775 units in FY24. Despite this, Hero MotoCorp saw a notable 8.62% increase in domestic demand during the April to November 2024 period, with sales rising to 40,37,846 units, up from 37,17,242 units in the same eight-month period last year. Exports performed even better, growing by 32.29% to reach 1,55,890 units in FY25, compared to 1,17,838 units in FY24.
